INCLUDES: Room with private bath, breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners and 4 hours of instruction daily.
Transportation is not included and is the responsibility of the participants. A recommended route is air to Paris, train to Marsaille and there you can rent a car. If you are not wishing to drive, there are other ways to get to the villa. Carpooling is encouraged.

Villa La Maison du Moulin

Come join award winning watercolorist Lady Jill Mueller for a week of instruction in the south of France during the quiet off-season of early autumn. Accommodations, featuring private baths, will be at a charming villa, La Maison du Moulin, near Grignan, north of Marsaille.

The villa is an old mill, complete with a waterway underneath it, redesigned into a bed and breakfast. Located in the Provence countryside surrounded by lavender fields. Rolling country sides, quaint towns, filled with fountains, French architecture, markets and sidewalk cafes will make for great painting material. As you enjoy the warm days and cool nights of autumn, walk in the footsteps of Cezanne and Van Gogh as you improve your painting skills. Lady Jill teaches her travel book/ journaling with watercolor techniques on a daily basis.

This allows you to not only continue practicing on further travels but to arrive home with a wealth of information for remembering your trip as well having plenty of material to paint from.

Beginners are welcome! A materials list will be sent with receipt of registration.

Costs:

The total cost for the France Workshop is $1695 for students and $1595 for non-painting guests ( based on double occupancy – single supplement is $ 300 )
After the $ 550 deposit ( includes a $ 25 non-refundable registration fee ) the balance due of 2 installments of $572.50 ($522.50 for non-painting guests) will be due on March 10, and August10, 2008. For early sign-ups discount will be deducted on last payment.

CANCELLATIONS:

Prior to JULY 1, 2008 a refund will be made less a $300 cancellation fee. We are sorry for the inconvenience but thereafter there will be no refunds unless your spot is filled with a paid in full guest, at which time the cancellation fee drops to $ 100. Lady Jill's Fine Arts strongly recommends travel insurance through your travel agent. This will enable you to recover all deposits and payments if you need to cancel for emergency reasons. No partial refunds will be made under any circumstances for unused rooms and/or meals at La Maison du Moulin.
